1992 - 2010
La Fuente Restaurant was founded in 1992 by Jose G. Zarate at 625 S. 5th Street in Milwaukee. Built on a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine and hospitality, the restaurant quickly became a gathering place for families, friends, and the local community.

2010-Present
As La Fuente continued to grow, it relocated to its current Bluemound Road location in 2010, allowing the restaurant to serve even more guests while maintaining the same commitment to quality and service that established its reputation. More than three decades later, La Fuente remains a family-operated business. Leadership has been passed from father to extended family members and now to the next generation, ensuring the restaurant's legacy continues to thrive. La Fuente continues to prepare its food in-house and proudly serves traditional Mexican dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. With a dedication to great food, excellent service, and strong community connections, La Fuente remains a Milwaukee favorite for both longtime guests and first-time visitors.
